In Memory of Lindsay Ann Whitaker
Lindsays Story of Faith

Lindsay was a Christian

Lindsay may have been young but she did a lot of big things. She publicly professed her relationship with Christ at the young age of 11. She attended the Evangelical Free Church here in McCook, where she became active in AWANA and her youth group. She loved to take trips with her youth group and spend time with her friends.
Many times while writing in her journal, she would refer to the Lord as her best friend.

A Prayer For Lindsay

lw2.jpg

God saw you were getting
tired
and a cure was not to be,
so He put His arms around
you
and whispered "Come to
Me".

With tearful eyes we
watched you,
and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you
dearly,
we could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped
beating,
hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
