Lindsay Ann Whitaker died Thursday (March 29th, 2001), at her home in McCook, at the age of 14. She was born May 21, 1986 at McCook, the daughter of Mark D. Whitaker and Gail L. Wagner.
Lindsay grew up in McCook where she attended McCook Junior High School and was in the eighth grade.
Lindsay loved and served the Lord at an early age, publicly professing her relationship with Christ at the age of 11. She attended the Evangelical Free Church where she was a member of AWANA and McCook Youth Group.
She was first-chair clarinet in the McCook Junior High Band; a member of the softballl league, and track and field. She was employed by her father at Whitaker Furniture store in McCook as a bookkeeper apprentice.
Lindsay was an avid reader and loved to write, she was also a wonderful artist.
She loved, watersports, skiing, swimming, the outdoors, animals and climbing trees.
